strong women, nanowrimo 2009 and life interruptus

Many of you who know me know that Iam my husband's caregiver. I also write novels about women who overcome adversity. Sometimes the adversity gets the better of us in real life. Two years ago,Ken suffered another stroke on top of his other 6. It was more than I could handle at the time. I retreated into my little corner, stopped writing and blogging. I hid. Understand my husband did not die. I just hid from everything but his care. In August I crept out of my cave. I started writing again. I did not restart my internet presence though. I was fully intending to. Then on the 26 my husband had a massive heartattack and was not expected to live. He is my energiser bunny. He is not only alive but getting well enough to go home soon. Instead of playing ostrich again I have instead decided to follow the lead of my heroines - pick up the pieces and charge forward. So to honor my ever going hubby I am. (1) writing this on my blackberry from the hospital. So if there are any glaring error please ignore them. I have never done this kind of thing before. (2) I have entered NANOWRIMO 2009.I will keep a running talley of my word count here and other places. (3) I will be reviewing, interviewing and having as a guest blogger Willow, the author of Tirissa and the Necklace of Nulidor this month. And (4) I will be posting a book by half-chapters (1/2 chapter per day)here and everywhere else I have a internet touch. I don't fight dragons, vampires or save planetary systems. But I can get back to working and associating with all of you. So if you have the inclination, stop by and say hi.
